April 6... our lives change as children grow up and move on to the life we have trained them to go after. Following the Lord, James left for USMC bootcamp Parris Island SC. He was missed beyond words.
May found us in Pa and Ohio for over a week. Visiting with family and friends.
Tyler came home with us for 3 weeks and we spent time at the pool and beach. His first time and he loved it.
Our week in June for the reunion was hot but wonderful, seeing family we've not seen for a year or more.
Three days after leaving the lake, we are off again to Parris Island SC to see James graduate Honor Grad of F. Co and PLT 2046. Congratulations son, we are so proud of you.
Home again, waiting to see where his orders will send him, either right to Camp Geiger NC or an extra 30 days home here as an RA. I'm praying for the second. :)
In Aug. we have another adventure waiting us. Running a B&B in Lancaster County for 12 days! I'm excited to go back to the place I remember most growing up.
Enough for now, have a wonderful Summer. Remember to put the Lord first!!
